Details: Taro Miconazole Cream 2% - 1.5 oz, Pack of 6 - Taro Miconazole Cream 2% - 1.5 oz: For the treatment of vaginal yeast infections (candidiasis) and the relief of external vulvar itching and irritation associated with a yeast infection. Directions: Before using, read the enclosed educational brochure. IF THIS IS THE FIRST TIME YOU HAVE HAD VAGINAL OR VULVAR ITCH AND DISCOMFORT, CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR. IF YOU HAVE HAD A DOCTOR DIAGNOSE A VAGINAL YEAST INFECTION BEFORE AND HAVE THE SAME SYMPTOMS NOW, USE THIS CREAM AS DIRECTED FOR SEVEN CONSECUTIVE DAYS. FOR VAGINAL USE ONLY. DO NOT USE IT IN YOUR EYES OR TAKE IT BY MOUTH. Insert 1 applicatorful of cream into the vagina at bedtime for 7 nights in a row. Squeeze a small amount of cream onto your finger and gently spread the cream onto the affected area of the vulva twice daily (morning and bedtime) for up to 7 days as needed to relieve external vulvar itching. THE CREAM SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR VULVAR ITCHING DUE TO CAUSES OTHER THAN A YEAST INFECTION. Applicator and instructions are enclosed. Warnings: DO NOT USE MICONAZOLE NITRATE VAGINAL CREAM IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS LISTED BELOW. ALSO, IF THEY OCCUR WHILE USING MICONAZOLE NITRATE VAGINAL CREAM, STOP USING THE PRODUCT AND CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY. YOU MAY HAVE A MORE SERIOUS ILLNESS. FEVER (HIGHER THAN 100 DEGREES ORALLY). PAIN IN THE LOWER ABDOMEN, BACK, OR SHOULDER. A VAGINAL DISCHARGE THAT SMELLS BAD. IF YOU DO NOT IMPROVE IN 3 DAYS, OR IF YOU DO NOT GET WELL IN 7 DAYS, YOU MAY HAVE A CONDITION OTHER THAN A YEAST INFECTION. CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR.
